Year 8 Orientation Day at Kaitaia College

Well, from what I have heard, the Yr 8s had a fabulous time up at the Kaitaia College today. They did us proud showing great values, and trying new things. I believe the highlight of the day was the Haka Off - a challenge between the 5 House Groups up there, competing for the best Haka performance.

Results were 1st Buck 🥇 2nd McMahon 🥈 3rd Miller 🥉 4th Trigg 🏅 5th Ngarimu 🏅 Well done to ALL the House Groups! 🎉

PCS Cross Country

Another great day out!! 2018 PCS Cross Country done and dusted! HUGE thanks to The Cutlers for the organisation and preparation of the event - it’s a MASSIVE job and it ran like clockwork! 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
Well done to all the runners 🏃🏽‍♀️🏃‍♂️ - all that training has paid off... and special shout out to Te Kahu 🎉

Te Kahu out and about

Busy weekend for these guys - Kaden completing the 12k fun run 🏃‍♂️ this morning with a time of 1:02 hours - smashing his time this year by 2 mins. He was in the top 15, and first young runner in!! 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 And Jarque who gave it his all in the fun walk/run too 🙌🏽
And Ben and Quentin playing rugby 🏉 in Kaeo for the Mangonui U12 Reps. They drew their game 34 all to BOI.
Watene played in the Mangonui U13s 🏉 team in Kaeo too today (sorry don’t have a pic)... 
Congrats boys - great to see you out and about doing what you love!

PCS has got Talent!!

PCS really enjoyed the Talent Quest today run by our Special Character Team - who knew we had such a talented bunch of kids! And I can only imagine next year there will be more...
